Why are my coins deducted automatically? What is auto unlock?

To improve the experience for avid Pocket FM enthusiasts who love binge-listening to their favorite stories, we've introduced an auto-unlock feature. This functionality allows listeners to unlock locked episodes of audio series using Pocket FM coins from their accounts, ensuring uninterrupted listening enjoyment.

We understand that some users may not appreciate the auto-unlock feature, hence we're actively working on creating solutions to give them more control over their coin usage. Meanwhile, the listeners can benefit from the following tips to enhance their experience:

Monitoring Coin Usage:

To keep track of your coins, please check the "Coins Spent" tab through the "My Store" section. This will allow you to monitor coin usage in each episode.

Sleep Timer Feature:

We understand that coins are sometimes deducted when episodes play beyond your awareness. You can prevent this by using the sleep timer feature. You can find ‘Sleep Timer' in the player page of the app. Tap on it to adjust the settings to your preference.

Managing Episode Progress:

It's a good practice to check the number of episodes in a story in advance. When you reach the last episode, you can pause the show to prevent unnecessary coin deductions.
